Chacha™ is a Drag Queen Character created and performed by actor/singer and entrepeneur Aaron Barrera.
Half Native American (Maya) and half Spaniard, Aaron finished the Two-Year Acting Program at LACC Theatre Academy in 2003 and since then has been seen in many projects, both as Aaron and as Chacha (his fierce alter ego).
His credits in film include: "Across the Universe", "I came here for Love", "Gunshots", "There is Hope (Hay Una Esperanza)","Mi Ninio Querido", "From Insult to Injury", and "Kiss of the Spider Woman" where he played Molina, as well as the Spider Woman and four other female roles. In theatre his credits include: "Cellphone Funeral", "Hot'l Baltimore", "Alice in Wonderland", "Godspel", "The Mikado", "Shakespeare a la Carte", "Fatgirls" and "12 Black Women".
As Chacha™ he has appeared in "Family Jewels with Gene Simmons", "The Chocolate News with David Alan Grier" and "The Chelsea Lately Show with Chelsea and Chuy".
Recently, Chacha™ represented the State of California in the National Entertainer of the Year Pageant in Louisville, KY where she earned the title of "U.S.Top 10 National Entertainer of the Year".
She was also featured in We!'s hit reality show "Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best?" with Melissa and Joan Rivers.
Aaron currently works the drag scene as Chacha™ in West Hollywood, Pomona, Long Beach, the Inland Empire, New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, DC and of course, Hollywood baby!!!
